A Legend Beyond Words
Crierd and Isor loomed low in the ebony-painted sky, beaten rays of silver twisting around wisps of featherlike clouds. The moons appeared large that night, one full and one crescent-shaped. Flecks of black had started to appear low on the moons' images months before. The spots cast strange shadows upon the ground, tendrils of ebony hue slithering forth into Blython like venomous snakes to grasp the hooves of a lone horse. The thunderous beating of its hooves echoed clear across the Azure Plains, its rider bent like a madman over the saddle as he rode. He had to get home soon, he knew, for strange t
